Creative Interventions

Richard Crooks and Ashim Halder Sagor

Creative Interventions is a process driven workshop, organised as part of Bengal Foundation's first residency artist Richard Crooks' research-based stay in Dhaka collaborating closely with Bangladeshi artist Ashim Halder Sagor.

The workshop involves ceramic and sculptural processes and explores the surrounding to select a suitable site for a sculptural ‘intervention’.

The aim of the workshop is not to showcase a finished work but to understand the process the artiste himself and encourage the participants to go through their own pedagogical process. It also offers to develop critical thinking among the participants through an open critique session.
