Renowned artist Shahid Kabir is to conduct a workshop on the techniques and other aspects of etching, a medium of printmaking.

An endeavor of the Bengal Practice Studio, the workshop aims to encourage the promising printmakers and add new dimensions in their practice.

Participants are to be selected by an open call.

The veteran artist would teach the participants how to apply the sugar lift etching process besides experimenting with other techniques of etching. Each student produced two works during the workshop and the outcome was displayed for the audience on the concluding day.
