New Delhi based researcher Sabih Ahmed prepares for an interactive session on Practice as Research. The talk shall include idea of conceptualising art initiatives, digitising art archives, creating digital bibliographies of art across multiple languages and organising archiving, uncharted educational resource related colloquia and seminars. The speaker shall also share his experience as a member of the curatorial collegiate of the 11th Shanghai Biennale which presents fresh ideas about creative art archive and offer some fresh ideas about how an archive could be curated creatively. 

Artist and academician of India Artist and academician Aditi Ganeev Sangwan shall talk about cyanotype practice within realm of visual art. She will discuss  the potential of the cyanotype print medium, contribution in printmaking and its close association with photography. Her artworks will be exhibited  in the open studio.

The Performance Art Week 2016 was the first of its kind for the Bengal Arts Programme to organize an event displaying live art featuring 20 performance artists of diverse background. It was opened on December 27 and continued till 30th December and took place at three different venues: Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts, Daily Star-Bengal Arts Precinct and Gyantapash Abdur Razzaq Bidyapeeth.
